Horses are being dumped in the desert at alarming rates today. With hay prices continuing to rise, horses are finding themselves in terrible situations as owners are unable to provide. At Little Lotus Rescue & Sanctuary we take in horses from the smallest minis with deformed legs to the largest draft horses who lived a hard Amish working life and need a kind retirement.
